Should Attend
This seminar is designed for researchers, managers, engineers, and decision makers who are faced with interpreting data and drawing rational conclusions. The range of topics covered is broad enough to be appropriate in a wide variety of fields of application.
Minimal background is needed
Since it begins with the basic concepts, this
course can be taken by those with no previous training in statistics.
Typically, however, most attendees have had some prior exposure to statistics,
either from a college course (perhaps long ago and mostly forgotten) and/or
from doing statistical analysis using canned programs (but uncertain of their
proper use and interpretation of the results).

little mathematics is needed (basic algebra, equation of a straight line)

We use only enough mathematics to understand what formulas the computer is using and why these are useful quantities. |
